Guelph Police are investigating after shots were fired at a home and vehicles in the city.

They say they were called to a home on Ryde Road for a property damage complaint and found that the damage was caused by shots from a firearm.

Police say they believe the incident happened in the early morning hours. There were no injuries but the damage is estimated at $3,000.

Detectives aren’t sure whether the home was targeted or if this was a random act.

They’re asking anyone with information to call Guelph Police at 519-824-1212 Ext. 344 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS
