Lost taser poses danger in Paris

Police are worried a lime green Taser that was used in a robbery could fall into a child’s hands.

They say the stun gun was used by a robber demanding drugs at the Northville Pharmacy on Grand River Street North in the town of Paris on Thursday afternoon.

Police say the robber ditched the Taser and other objects in the Trillium Way-Magnlia Court area.

The Taser is about the size of a cellphone and police worry a child could think it’s a toy and pick it up and get hurt.

Police are asking parents to talk to their children to see if any of them have picked up any such device.

A 21-year-old Brant County man is facing numerous charges in connection with the robbery.
