A trustee with the Waterloo Region District School Board has been honoured by
the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association.

John Hendry has been awarded the Dr. Harry Paikin Award of Merit.

The award is presented annually to an individual for outstanding service as a public school trustee in Ontario.

Hendry has served on the local board for 23 years.
