Possible tornadoes

Environment Canada is looking into the possibility that tornadoes touched down in Breslau, Ayr and Fergus on Wednesday afternoon.
Witnesses reported seeing a funnel cloud in Breslau and a tornado may have touched down in Ayr just before 3:30.
Officials also tell us they received reliable information from a storm tracker that a tornado touched down in Fergus.
Environment Canada Severe Weather Meteorologist, Bryan Tugwood tells 570 News there were heavy winds around that time.
He says wind gusts of 107 kilometres an hour were recorded at the Region of Waterloo International Airport.
Tugwood says at this point there have been no reports of significant damage.
Environment Canada hasn’t decided yet on whether to send a storm survey team to the area.
