Wellington County OPP Spring Seatbelt numbers

Wellington County OPP are out with numbers from the recent Spring Seatbelt Campaign.

Police say 101 people were charged with seatbelt violations during the 11-day blitz, 89 of those were drivers.

Officers in Wellington County checked over 47-thousand vehicles.

There was a 100 per cent compliance rate for the almost 250 child safety seats that were checked.
