Advance voting for the federal election takes a day off today.
The third and final day of advance polling will take place Monday, a full week before the May 2nd general election.
The polls will be open from 12 to 8 p.m. on Monday.
Polling stations across the region were busy throughout the day on Friday with some reporting wait times to cast a ballot to over an hour, and others just a mere ten minute wait.
John Enright of Elections Canada, tells 570 News, voters can find the location of their advance poll on their voter information card.
Enright says you don’t actually need to bring the card with you, and that it does not constitute proper identification.
He says voters still need to bring identification with them to vote.
