A Kitchener man faces a slew of charges following a late night police pursuit.
Regional Police say they tried to stop a suspected stolen vehicle in the core area of Kitchener around ten last night. The vehicle took off, but not before damaging two cruisers. Damage was minor and there were no injuries.
Police called off the chase, out of concern for public safety.
Police later responded to another crash, in the Strange and Cherry Street area involving the suspect vehicle.
A 20-year-old man was arrested and is charged with, among other things, theft over $5000, failing to remain at the scene of an accident and flight from police.
