Bobbi Stewart – NDP

Bobbi has worked with Family & Children’s Services since 1990. She currently does clinical social work and coordinates the care of youth in foster care. Bobbi is a member of CUPE Local 4325 and a member of the Guelph & District Labour Council.

Her career in social services began in 1980 with the Big Brothers Association.

She has worked with The Centre for Employable Workers and Working for Work in Kitchener, assisting many Canadians and Landed Immigrants find work. Bobbi has also worked with Seniors at St. Luke’s Place in Cambridge and for the Victoria Order of Nurses in Guelph and Wellington County.

A dedicated community volunteer, Bobbi has served on the Board for the Guelph Youth Singers and has volunteered for Onward Willow, the Cancer Society, the YM-YWCA, her children’s schools and her Church.

Bobbi attended the University of Guelph, studying music. She also graduated from the Masters of Social Work program in the spring of 2004.

She and her husband Cameron are parents to Blayne and Keiran. Bobbi has three adult daughters: Sandi, Robyn and Sylvia.
