We received an email from a listener who’s gift card was rejected at a local retailer, because it is in bankruptcy and is not honouring the cards. I thought they were “as good as cash? www.consumer.ca Question.. Should gift cards always be honoured if a retailers’ doors are open? 2:30 Michael Friscolanti, Sr. Writer, MacLeans Magazine.
