Two fires in Guelph

Guelph firefighters were busy with not one, but two blazes yesterday afternoon.
The first, around 1:30, was in a unit on Gordon Street.
Fire officials say one person was taken to hospital for treatment.
There is no damage estimate or cause.
Then, around 5 o’clock, they responded to a house fire on Farley Drive.
No one was home at the time and while the cause remains under investigation, it’s suspected it may have started in the area of the laundry room.
No damage figure is available.
