Snowfall warning in effect

We could be in for some messy weather tomorrow.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Waterloo Region. It says snow developing overnight will be heavy at times. A developing low pressure system is expected to bring mixed precipitation including 5 to 10 centimetres of snow, freezing rain and ice pellets.

It’s expected to begin overnight tonight and continue through Wednesday.

570 News Weather Specialist John Wilson is also calling for up to 10 centimetres of wet snow along with freezing rain and sleet. He also expects a stiff East wind to cause some blowing snow.
