The first-degree murder trial for the man accused of killing eight-year-old Tori Stafford will be held in London.
There was a request to move the trial out of Woodstock over defence concerns that pre-trial publicity would prejudice Michael Rafferty’s right to a fair trial.
Tori disappeared on her way home from school in April 2009. Her remains were later found outside Guelph.
Rafferty’s co-accused, Terri-Lynne McClintic, has been convicted of first-degree murder in the case. Rafferty’s next appearance is slated for April 6th.
