Here come the Leafs!

PHILADELPHIA – Darryl Boyce scored the go-ahead goal late in the third period to rally the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Boyce’s goal with 4:30 left gave the Maple Leafs a win in their ninth straight one-goal game.

Toronto continued its late push into the Eastern Conference playoff race and still has the eighth seed in sight.  The New York Rangers now hold the 8th seed with 70 points, the Buffalo Sabres are 9th with 68 points and Toronto is 10th with 67.

However, the Rangers do have 2 games in hand on Toronto.

The Leafs are now 6-1-3 in their last 10 games.

Nikolai Kulemin and Dion Phaneuf also scored for the Leafs, who trailed 2-1 late in the second period.

Ex-Leaf Kris Versteeg scored twice for the Flyers.
