GRCA 2011 Budget Done

The Grand River Conservation Authority has passed its 2011 budget.

It checks in with what it calls a modest increase in spending: to $33.6-million from $33.4-million last year.

The GRCA works to protect water quality, reduce flooding, preserve natural areas and provide recreation activities and environmental education.

The average homeowner will pay just under $10 more to support the GRCA.
