Elmira, Ont. native Dennis Wideman traded to Washington Capitals.

This will be his 4th NHL team.

Wideman played junior hockey with London and Sudbury.

The Toronto Maple Leafs dealt forward and Waterloo native John Mitchell to the New York Rangers.

The Leafs get a 7th round draft pick in 2012.
