In store for more snow

Another snowstorm is heading towards southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says the snow started overnight in southwestern Ontario and is moving to the east.

570 News weather specialist John Wilson expects Waterloo Region to receive 5 to 7 centimetres of snow with more to the south and less to the north of our area.

The Niagara Region is expected to get 15 to 20 centimetres of snow by midday with high winds causing whiteouts.

The northeastern shore of Lake Ontario and along the St. Lawrence River could also get heavy snow and high winds.

The storm is expected to taper off this afternoon as it moves further east.
