Taxi driver assaulted

A local taxi driver needed hospital treatment after being assaulted early this morning in Kitchener.
Police say the cabbie was dropping off a fare on Weber Street East around 2:20 when the attack happened.
Injuries are described as moderate.
Police are looking for a white man, in his early 20’s, 5′ 9″ to 6′ tall with a slim build.
He was wearing dark clothing and a black baseball cap.
