Poster tampering

U-W’s Federations of Students says it wants to create an open forum for discussion, after some alleged anti female posters went up around the school.

They held a discussion this afternoon at the Student Life Centre.

The posters went up last week, over the posters of female candidates in student elections.

They included a message against allowing women to lead men.

The campus police service has launched an investigation.

Many students in attendance told officials they did not feel safe.

U-W Director of Policing and Parking Services, Dan Anderson told concerned students there are 200 cameras throughout campus., inside and outside buildings.
