Citizenship and Immigration Canada has launched a new online black history museum as part of Black History Month.

“Canadian Black History: An Interactive Experience,” can be acessed through the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.

Spokesperson for the Ministry’s Public Eduction Department, Karen Shadd, says there are too many features to name but adds, it;s a great teaching and learning tool

Shadd says visitors will be able to look at exhibits, take tours and hear from those who feature prominantly in black history.

Shadd expects the site to grow in the coming years.
