Sex assault in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police and University of Waterloo Campus Police are investigating a sex offence late last night in Waterloo.

Police say just before 10:30, a woman was walking through a plaza parking lot on University Avenue West when a man approached her, touched her and then kept on walking.

The man is described as 5″6, wearing dark jeans and a black hooded jacket.

He was carrying a black and white backpack with a red flag motive.
