Canada’s former chief of defence staff spoke to a crowd in Kitchener Wednesday night about what it takes to be a leader during changing times.
General Rick Hillier says the key to being successful is to be tough, optimistic, passionate, and a ruthless decision-maker.
Hillier is the man many say remobilized support of Canadian troops and solidified Canada’s reputation on the world stage.
Nearly 600 people came to Bingeman’s to hear him talk.
Some people in the audience say his message inspired and impressed them.
His presentation was organized by Waterloo Regional Police.
