Titanic ready to set sail

It may very well be remembered as the most successful exhibit yet at THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener.

“Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition,” draws to a close this weekend and total attendance is expected to top 40,000 for the event, which began its runs in late September.

CEO David Marskell tells 570 News, when the final numbers are in, it may surpass the most successful exhibit ever staged at THEMUSEUM: “Our Body: The Universe Within,” which attacted some 41,000 visitors.

Due to the overwhelming success of this show, Marskell urges anyone wanting to take in the final weekend to order your tickets now since many blocks of time have already been sold out.

To accommodate a heavy weekend turnout, THEMUSEUM is in the midst of a 36-hour Titanic exhibit marathon which wraps up at ten Saturday night.

The final day for the exhibit is Sunday, when it will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
