Former Guelph priest charged

A former priest has been charged with historical sex offences in Guelph.

67-year-old Jim Boudreau is facing charges following an investigation that started last month.

Guelph Police say the alleged incident of “sexual impropriety” dates back to 1984, when Boudreau was a pastor of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church.

Boudreau was arrested yesterday on a charge of sexual assault and will return to court in March.
