Robberies in Waterloo

Police in Waterloo have arrested a man after 4 robberies in the University and King area.
The robberies happened around 9:20 last night and spanned a 15 minute period.
The suspect used a gun and robbed people of cash.
That’s when police were called to the area and they found the suspect and that’s when he fled.
Police chased the man and later arrested him at Columbia and Weber Street and a the K9 unit was brought in to find the gun.
A 26 year old Kitchener man is being held bail hearing that’s scheduled for today.
