Boxing Day: What’s open?

It’s all about the shopping today: Boxing Day as shoppers across the Region flock to area stores in search of post-Christmas bargains.
Most stores are open today including Fairview Park and Conestoga Malls and the Cambridge Centre.
Drug and grocery stores are open today.
Most stores in St. Jacobs are closed today. Outlet stores will reopen today at 10 a.m. or noon Dec. 26.
The Beer Store and LCBO outlets will be closed today as well.
Some attractions are also open: the Museum, K-W Art Gallery, Bingemans and Castle Killbride are a remaining open throughout the week.
Service changes for Grand River Transit from today until January 2nd are listed at GRT.ca. Free service will be offered on New Year’s Eve from 6 p.m. to the end of service, with extended service on late evening routes.
And, Kitchener’s Civic Square skating rink will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. today. The rink is also open from 8 a.m. to midnight Dec. 31, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 1.
