Holiday trash pick-up

Christmas and Boxing Day falling on a weekend means it will be business as usual next week for the Region’s trash collectors.
If your normal day for pick up is Monday, make sure it’s out at the curb on your regular day.
Same goes for the rest of the week.
As for those Christmas trees: the Region will begin collection in the tri-cities on January 3rd through the 14th.
They’ll be collected on your normal pick up day.
In the townships, tree pick up varies, so the Region recommends you check your collection calendar.
