A new poll asking people to rate their bosses this Christmas has found that most Canadians see their’s as Santa Claus.
Still, another third of people polled by Monster Canada says the man or woman in charge at their workplace bears more resemblance to Ebenezer Scrooge.
Some people on the street tell 570 News their boss is just as cheap as the man behind the “Bah Humbug”, handing out no holiday bonus or raise.
Others say they are treated very well and they appreciate getting time off over the holidays.
Robert Waghorn with Monster Canada says the results of the survey may have a lot to do with the recession.
He says some employers are rewarding their staff for putting in long hours during the downturn, while others let some employees go or gave them more work with no reward.
