Black loses appeals

Conrad Black is taking the fight to clear his name to the U-S Supreme Court.

That’s after a three-judge panel in Chicago unanimously rejected Black’s request for a new hearing on an appeal of fraud and obstruction of justice convictions.

Black says he “never thought there was the slightest chance of success” and made the request as a formality en route to a U-S Supreme Court petition.

He remains free on bail.
