Big-time kudos to 570 News sister station CHYM-FM for an amazing campaign that raised over $350,000 for Children’s Services of Waterloo Region.
The CHYM-FM Tree of Hope radiothon was a huge success.
Our sister station staged the event late last week at the Fairview Park Mall in support of Family and Children’s Services of Waterloo Region.
The goal was $275,000 but a lot more than that was raised: $354,500.
The money supports such programs as the adopt-a-youth program, family holiday program and the monthly giving club which helps children in need throughout the year.
