Housing sales decline

Housing sales in region are on the decline.

The Kitchener-Waterloo Real Estate Board sold 484 homes last month, down 13 per cent from 556 last year in November.

They say despite the current sluggish market, a boom in sales earlier in the year means 2010 should wrap up with higher sales than a year ago.

Year-to-date, the board has recorded 6,059 sales. That compares to 6,007 in the first 11 months of 2009.
