Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Waterloo Region and much of southern Ontario.
Heavy rain is expected for Tuesday, along with milder than normal temperatures.
570’s Weather Specialist, John Wilson says we’ll get about an inch of rain in Waterloo Region with the temp. to hit 12 degrees Celsius.
The average rainfall across the south is expected to be between 15 and 30 millimetres, but there could be 40 to 50 millimetres near the Quebec border.
