Guelph man laid to rest

Funeral services for a Guelph man, killed in the explosion at a Mexican resort just over a week ago, will be held today in Eastern Ontario.

Elgin Barron, an employee at Com Dev in Cambridge, has lived here for about 20 years.

He was one of seven people – five of them Canadians – to die in the blast at a Mayan Riviera resort on November 14th.

The service will take place this morning at 11 at St. Jude Church in Hawkesbury.
