Cambridge man getting better

A COM DEV employee injured in the resort blast in Mexico last weekend is out of intensive care.

Cambridge resident Larry Smith tells CTV he remembers hitting the floor and the debris hitting him in the back.

Smith’s friend and co-worker Elgin Barron of Guelph was one of five Canadians killed in the blast.

Smith and his family were in Mexico celebrating his wife’s birthday.
