Waterloo Region Public Health has kicked off its seasonal flu vaccination clinics.

The first one is today at the Waterloo Recreation Centre on Father David Bauer Drive from 2 until 8 this evening.

It’s one of a dozen scheduled between now and December 2nd and the public health department points out you can also get your flu shot at your doctor’s office and urgent care clinics.

The shots are free and public health says influenza immunization offers the best protection for people over the age of six months.
