Power outages have been fixed around Woodstock and Floradale, and pocket of Hydro One customers around Puslinch should be cleared up around 8:30 — not 7:30 as earlier estimations had put it.
21,000 Hydro One customers were still in the dark early this morning after strong winds knocked out power lines.
Hydro One says their crews will be working hard today to get the power back on, but spokesperson Daniele Gauvin says full power won’t be restored to everyone until later today.
Gauvin says at its peak, 50-thousand customers in areas including Ottawa, North Bay and the Bruce Peninsula were without electricity.
