Gas leak in Woodstock

A street in Woodstock was cleared out by police due to a gas leak yesterday.
Police, fire, and EMS crews converged at business on Athlone Avenue around 1:30 p.m., after a call came in that a 100-pound acetylene tank was leaking inside the building.
As a precaution Athlone Avenue was closed to vehicle traffic and employees were evacuated from the effected business, Holland Hitch, and neighbouring Laidlaw Carriers.
After the safe zone was created, the tank was removed from the building and the building itself was vented.
The all-clear was sounded an hour later.
No damages and no injuries were sustained.
