Oktoberfest RIDE stats

The Oktoberfest Ride program numbers are in.
Waterloo Regional Police officers working the nine day run of Oktoberfest checked 11,161 vehicles, conducted 47 roadside tests and then issued nine three-day suspensions one 30-day suspension, three charges for impaired driving, five over 80 milligram of alcohol charges, 43 HTA charges, and one charge each for controlled drugs and substances and liquor licence act charges.
The stats match up to previous years, except the five people charged for having alcohol of over 80 milligrams in their system, which is slightly down from 2009.
