Treasure hunt fever!

Hundreds of treasure hunters descended this morning on a spot they believe holds the key to happiness.
We can not disclose the location, but people have been climbing trees and looking in the bushes at a particular spot for the winning key in the Oktoberfest Annual Treasure Hunt contest.
Some trees have been damaged in the fervent searching.
Players try to solve a trail of clues that leads to discover a key hidden somewhere in the K-W area that opens King Ludwig’s treasure chest worth $3,000.
To find the key, check out the daily clue given each weekday during the contest during the KIX 106 morning show, and also appearing in that day’s Waterloo Region Record.
Hundreds of people this morning believe they have deduced the general location of the key, and now only need to find the key itself.
The swarm of treasure hunters dwindled to a few dozen hard-core seekers as the morning progressed.
