Oktoberfest in Cambridge

For the first time, Cambridge is taking part in North America’s largest Bavarian bash.

Three days of festivities started over the noon hour today with a free luncheon outside Cambridge Centre.

There was also an official keg tapping ceremony.

Cambridge Mayor, Doug Craig tells 570 News they plan on making it an annual event.

Elmira is getting in the spirit as well this year, The Lions Club will be holding their celebrations for one day only on Saturday October 16th.
