It’s a good sign for K-W Oktoberfest.
President Paul Buttinger says ticket sales are selling at a faster pace than in previous years and are already up 25 to 30 per cent over last year.
Some revellers say they were the early birds, snagging tickets as soon as they went on sale.
A few of the festhalls have sold out but some people as far away as Ottawa haven’t lost hope.
They are posting wanted ads on Kijiji and Craigslist, offering to pay as much as $50.00 a ticket.
