Some of the world’s leading environmentalists and those with the power to shape environmental policy, will gather at the Centre for International Governance Innovation in Waterloo tonight, to kick off an international conference on climate change.

Federal Environment Minister Jim Prentice will deliver the keynote address at tonight’s sold-out dinner that opens the summit.

CIGI spokesperson Fred Kuntz tells 570 News the sessions tomorrow and Sunday are private, to allow for free expression of ideas.
