Titanic exhibit sets sail

The much-anticipated Titanic exhibit is set to open at THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener.

The show, featuring artifacts related to the legendary passenger ship, opens to the public tomorrow and runs to January 23rd.

Tonight, there’s an invitation-only gala to celebrate its arrival in Waterloo Region.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition has travelled around the world and tells the tale of the massive ship that, at the time, was said to be unsinkable.

Of course it did sink in the icy North Atlantic, on April 15, 1912 claiming over 1,500 lives.

The exhibit features 150 artifacts.
