Waterloo Regional Police Division 3 Detectives are requesting the community’s help identifying a male wanted in connection with a variety store theft and have released the security images to assist the investigation.
Officials say on September 15th, 2010 just before noon, a lone white male entered a variety store in the 300 block of Lancaster Street West in the City of Kitchener. The male asked the clerk for a pack of cigarettes and some lottery tickets. The male then left the store without paying for the merchandise. The suspect did not use any physical violence or make any threats to the clerk.
The suspect is described as male, white, 20 to 30 years old, medium build, brown short hair, scruffy full beard, wearing a white baseball cap and navy blue long sleeve sweat shirt.
Police are investigating.
