Police say the death of a 64 year old Kitchener man is no longer being treated as suspicious.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Thomas Murie has determined that he was not the victim of an assault in Victoria Park as was initially reported.
According to evidence, police say Murie did not leave his apartment for several days leading up to his death.
Police now believe that his injuries, were not the result of an assault, but happened when the victim lost his balance and fell on several occasions.
The investigation was launched after the victim was discovered in his Kitchener apartment by a relative last Saturday.
