Price drop for Torch

Reports say prices have been slashed in half on Research In Motion’s new BlackBerry Torch in the United States.

It was launched a few weeks ago to compete with the Apple iPhone.

Amazon.com is now offering the Torch for just $99.99 with a two year contract.

That’s half of the competitive $199 price point that RIM introduced it with.
