Ride arrives in T.O.

TORONTO – Victoria Stafford’s father and brother are nearing the end of their long road to raise money for Child Find Ontario in her name.

Victoria, or Tori as the eight-year-old was known to friends and family, was killed last spring and two people are charged with first-degree murder.

Rodney Stafford and his 12-year-old son, Daryn, set out on bikes from Edmonton on June 22nd headed for their hometown of Woodstock, Ontario.

They expect to arrive there Sunday, but today they’ll be just of up the road in Toronto continuing to raise money, and more importantly to raise awareness about keeping kids safe.

The Staffords’ bike odyssey has taken them through dozens of towns since it began.

Last year, Rodney Stafford pedalled solo from Woodstock to Edmonton, and at the start of this year’s ride, had raised more than 60-thousand dollars for Child Find Ontario.
