Fatal workplace accident

Police confirm a man died in an industrial accident at a scrap metal business in Elmira.

Emergency crews responded to a scrap metal business on Howard Street just before 11 on Monday morning.

The coroner attended the scene and a post mortem has been scheduled.

CTV is reporting the man who died was Robert Cooke, the owner of Robert Cooke Trucking.

The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
