John Huff has been sentenced to life in prison.

The 42 year old was sentenced Friday in the attempted murder of Tammy Card.

Card was bashed over the head with a baseball bat in the lobby of her Kitchener apartment three years ago.

The Record reports Justice James Ramsay said Huff’s crime was so serious that he deserved the maximum sentence.

Huff’s brother, Ron was recently handed a five year prison term for being an accomplice to the attempted murder.
