Local officers going to G20

Some officers from the Waterloo Regional Police Service will take part in security duties at the G20 later this month in Toronto.

The local officers will work in conjunction with other officers on security duties, escorts to motorcades, and crowd management.  

The officers will be in Toronto starting June 18th.

Their salaries and expenses will be paid for by the Government of Canada.
