Radisson guests awakened by smoke

A rude awakening for guests staying at the Radisson Hotel on King Street East in Kitchener early this morning.
Police say smoke was coming from an elevator motor triggering a fire alarm not long after 4 o’clock.
Police also report that no one was hurt and there was little in the way of damage.
Bleary eyes guests were simply told to go back to their rooms.
